The bedroom and living area share the upper floor beneath the roof. At its centre is a comfortable queen-size bed, with a walk-in wardrobe and room to sit, read or work nearby.
A baby cot with a mattress can be prepared on request. Because the apartment is reached by several stairs and the internal stone staircase is open and uneven, it is not suitable for active toddlers or young children who are already moving around independently.

Lo spazio

• The apartment is arranged vertically across two levels.
• On the lower floor, the kitchen and dining area form the heart of the space. The kitchen is compact but thoughtfully equipped, with an induction hob, microwave, small refrigerator, kettle, espresso machine and the basic cookware needed to prepare your own meals.
• The dining area sits beside a broad row of windows overlooking the hills around Ebnat-Kappel. Books and board games are stored inside the bench, making this a comfortable place for breakfast, an afternoon coffee or an evening spent at home.
• The bathroom is also located on this floor.
• An original stone staircase leads to the attic above. Here, the bedroom and sitting area share one open space beneath the roof. Alongside the queen-size bed, there is a walk-in wardrobe, two wicker chairs, a small table and a separate dining or working table.
• The staircase is one of the apartment’s defining features, but it is steep, irregular and unsecured. Guests should be comfortable climbing stairs and have good balance and basic mobility.

A private outdoor staircase leads to the apartment entrance and its terrace. Both areas are reserved entirely for guests.
The terrace has outdoor furniture, a dining area and sun loungers, making it an easy place to have breakfast outside, read in the afternoon or sit for a while at the end of the day.
Ebnat-Kappel lies in the Toggenburg valley, surrounded by hills, forests and mountain landscapes. The region offers walking and cycling routes, cultural events and outdoor activities throughout the year. In winter, the wider Toggenburg area is well placed for skiing, sledging, snowshoeing and winter walks.

The guest apartment has its own private entrance on the side of the house. An outdoor staircase leads to both the entrance and the private terrace.
The apartment, entrance and terrace are reserved entirely for guests during their stay. Lucia, the co-host, and her partner live in a separate part of the building.
Self check-in is available through a secure lockbox. The access code and detailed arrival instructions will be sent before check-in.
Luggage drop-off may be possible when arriving early or leaving later, but this should be arranged with the hosts in advance.

Please take particular care on the stairs. Several steps must be climbed to reach the apartment, and the internal stone staircase has irregular spacing and no protective barrier. Good balance, sure-footedness and basic fitness are important.
For this reason, the apartment is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or for active toddlers and young children. Parents travelling with a small baby are welcome, and baby equipment can be prepared on request.
Pets must be agreed with the hosts before arrival. Cats cannot be accommodated.
There is no television in the apartment. Instead, you will find books, board games and a Bluetooth speaker.
Laundry arrangements may be available on request. Please ask the host in advance if you expect to need them during your stay.
