Independent places we choose for the atmosphere, the surroundings, and the story. And for the people behind them.
WHY WE'RE HERE
You know the feeling when you leave a place and it follows you home. The view from that kitchen window. The host who left a note you never expected. The village nobody told you about. That's why Alpnest exists. We go looking for the places that do that.
FIND YOUR PLACE
Some come for silence. Some come with children, dogs, or both. There's a place for all of it.
Places where kids are welcome by default. Space to play and be together — indoors and outside.
Stays away from noise, crowds, and rush. Quiet, simple places with room to breathe.
Homes where your pet comes along, naturally. No special rules, no awkward questions.
Places that work for small groups. Shared spaces, big tables, and great ideas.
The Alpnest Letter
New places to stay, stories told by the people who know them best, and little corners of Switzerland you might otherwise miss. Just an occasional note from us.
By signing up for the Alpnest newsletter, you provide your email address so we can send you occasional updates. We respect your privacy - your data is stored on servers in Switzerland. See our Privacy Policy for details.
HAND-PICKED STAYS
A few places we keep thinking about.
A spacious alpine home with a dedicated workspace, mountain and valley views, a working Kachelofen, a cinema room, and a wild garden with fruit trees. Once the village schoolhouse, today it is made for slower days: quiet retreats, family stays, creative work, long dinners, and the simple pleasure of having enough space.
